Mrs. Wright

Welcome to my Plone Page! This year my homeroom is 6-4 or 6W, and I will be teaching them Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and Health. I have taught a range from Kindergarten to grade 9 students with all levels of abilities and interests. I love the challenge of making learning fun and engaging for my students. I use a multitude of technology and hands-on, real-world experiences to motivate and help my students learn. This year, I will be using Google Classroom, My Blueprint and Powerschool. A note for my amazing students; Google Classroom is something you need to be checking daily. This will have all of our class slides, handouts, study material/guides, helpful website links, announcements and homework, as well as other general information that will help grades six students and parents to be successful this school year. Please make checking the Homework and Announcements Page part of your daily routine and contact me if you have any questions, comments or concerns. I look forward to working with your family and if you have any questions, comments or concerns please write a note in your student's agenda or email me. I have an open door policy and encourage parents AND students to come and speak with me if you would like to talk about what's going on in our classroom! Students take eight required subjects: Art, English Language Arts, Health and Life Skills, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science and Social Studies.
