Welcome to Mrs. Woolfsmith's Class
Hello Windsong Families,
I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into our classroom. I Please keep in mind that I have your children’s best interest at heart and I am motivated to keep learning engaging, fun, authentic and meaningful.
To give you a brief history of myself, I was born and raised in Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia with four sisters and an assortment of pets including dogs, birds, cats, bunnies, horses and a goat. I graduated from Saint Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2005 and I then received my Education degree from Acadia University in 2007. In 2014, I graduated with my Masters in Education, specializing in Curriculum Studies at the University of New Brunswick. I taught in northern Alberta for 7 years and have been with Rocky View Schools for seven years. My husband and I have three beautiful, busy boys ages 7, 5 and 3. They keep us on our toes daily and we have a lot of fun together.

If there are any questions that arise during the year, please do not hesitate to contact me. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you after school hours. Meetings can be done over the phone or zoom at this time. I want to be your biggest ally this year so please lean on me if you need support and/or guidance navigating a challenging time. Let’s work together to make it the best, most memorable year yet.
