Things that are good to know...
1. If you are able to, have your child read 20-30 minutes every night. The more your child reads, the more words they see.
2. Ask your child what they are learning in class. We are always doing something new, so it's a great conversation starter.
3. Work with your child to set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time bound). We have talked about this in class.
4. Studying for tests/assessments is important. Next year is a PAT year and it is a good habit to start practicing now.
5. If you need to reach me, please email ameisner@rockyview.ab.ca
6. Almost all course work is posted in my Google Classrooms. If your child misses school they can access their missing work from each respective Google Classroom.
7. Check Power School and My Blueprint regularly. This will give you the best indicator of what we are doing in class and how your child is doing in class.
